Foreigner individuals who wish to convert their valid Tourist visa into an “Investor residence Permit”, their Passport should be valid till next 26 months from their arrival date. The application for a residence permit should be made by the individual in person. The applicant must be there on the date of appointment, he can’t use Power of Attorney for this procedure. However, a person can give Power of Attorney to any legal representative and the attorney can receive the permit on the applicant’s behalf, once it is ready.

Project should be ready to move in, The Turkish Government does not issue residence permit on the property that is under construction.

The residence permit will invalidate automatically if it is not being used for 6 months from its receiving date.
