Q. How should I calculate the exchange rate of USD and TL?

A. On the application date, Tapu Office calculates the value from the Turkish Central Bank selling rate (efektif satış kuru).

The Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey’s exchange rate must be taken into consideration when you make the application.

Q. When am I eligible for the Passport?

A. After you have bought property of worth $250,000, you will be eligible.

Q. Who is eligible for the passport besides me?

A. Your spouse and the children aged under 18, at the time of passport application.

Q. Can I buy property without actually coming to Turkey?

A. Yes. You don’t have to come to Turkey, our expert team will take care of the whole process for you.

Q. As the application process lasts for a minimum time span of two months, would I get a residence permit once the application process starts?

A. Yes. You will get a temporary residence permit.

Q. Is it mandatory to stay in Turkey during the Citizenship process?

A. No, it’s not mandatory to stay inside the borders of Turkey during the whole process.

Q. Can I live as a Turkish citizen with dual nationality?

A. Yes, Turkish Government allow dual nationality. However, a person’s own state rules may allow or not allow its citizens to carry dual nationality.

Q. Can I get citizenship by investing in the under-construction projects?

A. Yes. If the payment is above $250,000, an application can be made through Notarized Property Purchase Commitment for citizenship.

Q. If I buy a property on installments, can I apply for Passport?

A. Yes, if the installments are paid after 19.09.2018 through the bank and if the sum of installments adds up to $250,000; you can apply for Turkish citizenship.  Notarized Property Purchase Commitment is necessary in this case.

Q. Which nationalities are eligible to apply for Turkish Passport?

A. Citizens of those countries who are able to buy property in Turkey, can apply for Turkish Citizenship through investment.
