RISING CITY YALOVA.
Yalova is located in the southeast of the Marmara region. Yalova, located on the coast of the Marmara Sea, left Istanbul in 1995 and was granted provincial status.
Its population is 251,203 according to 2017 Statistics data. Yalova has 14 municipalities in 6 districts. It is possible to sort these districts as follows; Altınova, Armutlu, Çınarcık, Çiftlikköy, thermal and Yalova Center.
Çınarcık is one of the most beautiful and frequented holiday spots in the Marmara Sea. Due to its nature, lush woodlands and thermal areas, camping activities are among the first places to come for those who want to walk and listen to nature. It also has hot spring waters which are believed to be healing with thermal zones. People with many joint disorders, rheumatism disorders say they find healing in the hot springs here.

History Of Yalova
Yalova, which is home to many civilizations dating back to 3000 BC, came under the rule of the Kingdom of Bitinya after being ruled by the Hittites, Phrygians and Persians for some time. During the excavation works, the remaining historical artifacts from the kingdom are exhibited in the Open Air Museum. After being ruled by the Roman and Byzantine Empires until 1326, it came under Ottoman Empire rule in 1326. Yalova, which continued its life in the Ottoman Empire until 1920, was invaded by Greek troops in the same year. It was restored to Turkish territory after being used as a Greek base for a year. The bitter incident known as the ‘Yalova massacre’ took place during this period.
The Walking Pavilion, which has also become the symbol of Yalova, is a small structure with a quadrangular plan, two-story, wooden carcass located on the coast of Yalova, within the Central Research Institute of Garden cultures of Atatürk. Starting from the pier in Yalova city center, you can go to the pavilion following the way along the beach that runs along the Institute. After walking about 1 kilometer you can see the famous sycamore tree and The Walking Pavilion. In this beautiful city, which Atatürk gave importance to and said “Yalova is my city”, there is also Thermal Atatürk Pavilion which was completed in 38 days in 1929.
